Fulcrum Missions had multiple different mission trips to Mexico.

Ensenada, Mexico Mission Trip

Our mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico focused on assessing various local organizations for a short-term mission trip to focus on. Many local organizations are doing great work in their communities and have a desire to host short-term mission trips as part of their community outreach. We assessed organizations’ ability to host a designated project, as well as their ability to leverage longer term solutions to some of their ministry limitations, such as building aquaponics systems.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Mission Trip

In 2021, Fulcrum Missions went on a mission trip to Puerto Vallarta following Hurricane Nora to assist Gold Creek Community Church. As Gold Creek is involved with several churches in the Puerto Vallarta area, Fulcrum Missions went there to assess house repair needs for community members. We visited homes that had hurricane damage, assessing the severity of the damage, the cost of repairs, and a projected timeline of how long each project might take a small team to complete. These recommendations were passed on to Gold Creek, which planned to have a short-term mission trip to Puerto Vallarta to tackle the projects.

Acapulco, Mexico Disaster Relief

In 2023, Hurricane Otis hit Acapulco, and Leslie took two trips to the area for a church rebuild project. Leslie’s job was very similar to the work in 2021: conduct assessments of damaged buildings and pass along the assessments to headquarters to determine which churches would be rebuilt. Smaller church repair projects were decided by the team on the ground, working with suppliers and contractors to complete the work. Overall in her time there, they were able to complete about 30 church roof repair projects.
